RanidPro200
High performance and simple tools for radionuclide search, identification & location.
Operator friendly easy user interface with internal mapping & history functions.
Automated gamma radiation localizer for finding multiple sources.
RanidSOLO
Spectrometric Radiation Source Locator for RanidPro200
RanidSOLO is a valuable add-on for RanidPro200 that enables tracking down multiple sources of gamma radiation. RanidSOLO operates as an automatic and reliable system, providing accurate directional information, within a challenging short time frame. This allows the operators in mission to easily track down one or even multiple sources of radiation.
With information collected from different points on the field a triangulation method can be used to calculate the estimated the location of the source(s).

Full Reachback Capability
RanidPro200 supports all commonly used wireless data transfer methods, and is able to be in constant contact with the control centers where the experts can process the measurements for more in-depth analysis. This helps to verify the threat rapidly and providing immediate instructions for action.
The full reachback capability is also available via the backpack toughpad user interface
Environics is referenced in Border Security Report magazine, due to RanidPro200 and RanidSOLO usage during a crossborder reachback demonstration, which took place in Estonia by the end of 2017.
“The Finnish Radiation and Safety Authority (STUK) was on duty at their facilities in Helsinki, Finland. While HT Nuclear Ltd provided the scientific support to the local reachback centre in Tallinn which was established in the premises of the Estonian Rescue Board, who hosted the demonstration and lead the search operation of radioactive material out of regulatory control.”

Applications
From locating orphan sources, to enhancing the radiological safety of critical infrastructures, and preventing the illegal smuggling of radioactive material into a country’s crossing border section, this radionuclide identifier backpack with added source location can also be integrated with both light and armoured reconnaissance vehicles.
It can equally be used as a surveying tool of potentially hazardous areas by first response teams, or for monitoring high security events.
