SaphyRAD MS, Bertin Technologies’ multiprobe survey meter, has received an official “As Used by French Armed Forces” – label from the French MoD, valid for 5 years.
“As Used By French Armed Forces” (“Utilisé par les Armées Françaises”) is a certification issued by the French Ministry of the Armed Forces created in May 2018.
“This label vouches for the product’s compliance with the criteria required for its awarding and is valid for a period of five years.”
SaphyRad MS has been developed together with the French Armed Forces under the DORA contract, for the design, development, production and support of the new operational radiation detector for the armed forces. From the first deliveries that took place in 2021 until today, more than 1400 radiation survey meters have been delivered to the French MoD. In addition to French MoD also the Swedish Civil Security Forces, the Norwegian Ministry of Defence, the Lithuanian Armed Forces, the EDF (Electricité de France), and the European Commission (rescEU programme) have selected versions of SaphyRad as their solution for handheld radiation survey.
