Norwegian Defence Materiel Agency (NDMA), awarded Bertin Environics with a new significant seven-year framework contract for the acquisition of CBRN Squad Kits.

These kits combine Bertin Technologies Group’s chemical detection expertise from Finland and radiation detection knowledge from France, addressing the benefits of the Bertin Technologies’ acquisition of Environics conducted at end of 2022. Bertin Environics won the contract through international tender phase.

The customer specific CBRN Squad Kit includes ChemProX handheld chemical detectors with build in simulation and connectivity features and SaphyRad MS multiprobe radiation survey meters with αβγ probe. The detectors capabilities are supplemented with analogue detection papers and customer designed marking kit.

Central agencies in the execution of this procurement are the Norwegian Defence with underlying agencies and the Norwegian National Security Authority. Also other Norwegian civilian Agencies and Ministries with CBRN tasks will have possibility to enhance they CBRN capabilities within this framework contract.
