Training manager Toni Leikas conducted a successful Online User Training on ChemPro CBRN Kit addressed at NCO ADELFAS project participants such as end-users from Spain, members of the Moroccan General Directorate of Civil Defense and members of the Science Faculty of Rabat.
Within the framework of the DIMLAB project, ADELFAS – Association for Development, Education, Law, Training, Art and Security” – is leading a NATO project under the “SCIENCE FOR PEACE AND SECURITY” program, which promotes dialogue and practical cooperation between allies and partners, through scientific research, technological innovation and the exchange of knowledge.
The DIMLAB Project – Deployable CB analytical laboratory brings together two NATO partner countries – Morocco and Tunisia – and one member country, Spain, whose participants received Level 1 and 2 user training for ChemPro CBRN Kit as well as user level maintenance tasks. The training provided know-how and skills on how to use handheld chemical detector ChemPro, radiation detector module and ENVI Assay biological tests.
This collaboration aims at significantly improving the technological capabilities of sampling, detection and identification of Chemical and Biological agents, of natural, accidental or malicious origin, for national and regional defenses. The 3 countries, form a strategic triangle of defense and response to CB incidents.
This training session was a follow-up to an earlier ENVI BioScout online training held in the Spring.
