Environics has signed a remarkable agreement with Kership, a subsidiary of the shipyards Naval Group and Piriou, for supplying CRN detection systems for twelve Mine Counter Measure vessels ordered by the Belgian and the Royal Netherlands Navy, through the consortium Belgium Naval & Robotics.
The deliveries will start in 2022 and will go on until 2028. The MCM programme will replace the current minehunters by state-of-the-art MCM vessels of the latest generation, including a specific toolbox for unmanned systems.
Environics has a long relationship with both Belgian and Dutch military organizations, and our CBRN detection solutions are already used in both countries.
So far, nineteen different countries over the globe are using Environics’ fixed naval CBRN systems, in a total of over 100 vessels.
