Environics, together with its Canadian partner, is supplying CBRN detection systems to Seaspan Shipyards for two Joint Support Ships of the Canadian Navy.
A Joint Support Ship (JSS) is a multi-role naval ship capable of launching and supporting “joint” amphibious operations. It also provides sea-lift, underway support, sea-basing and logistics capabilities for combined army and naval missions.
So far Environics has installed over 100 fixed ship CBRN systems, for maritime / rescue forces of several countries such as Algeria, Finland, India, Indonesia, Korea, Malaysia, Mexico, Norway, Oman, Philippines, Taiwan, Turkey, and Singapore. In addition, we have long experience of co-operation with renown shipyards, such as Damen, ST Marine, Intermarine, and Hindustan Shipyard Ltd.
